Changes in Management
M. Sc. (Econ.) Tomi Tanninen, 41, has been appointed CFO of Altia Corporation as of November 1, 2008. He has been working within Paulig Group since 1993 in various positions. He joins Altia from the position of CFO. Tomi will be member of Executive Management Team and he reports to CEO Antti Pankakoski. Tomi’s contact information will be published in ACInside in the beginning of November. Finance and IT departments will have extra management support in the interim period until the new CFO will start. The Finance department will in interim report to Outi Sivén and IT department respectively to Aki Koskinen. Outi and Aki will assume a co-management responsibility with Tuomas Itkonen until end of September, and will continue alone in those roles until the new CFO will start.
SVP, Baltics, Outi Sivén has been appointed SVP, Business Development as of September 1, 2008. Her role is in the interface of Operational Business Units and Financial Support Function. Outi will focus on raising profitability through increased understanding of financial aspects on the Business Unit level and increased understanding of business in Finance and thus aiming better cooperation and efficient processes. Outi shall also continue market entry of Lithuanian market in Baltics. She will continue her work in the Executive Mangement Team reporting to Antti Pankakoski.
Søren Qvist, MD of Altia Denmark and country head of Denmark, has been appointed SVP, Denmark and Baltics as of September 1, 2008. The goal of combining the country responsibilities of the open markets is to gain synergy benefits. Søren will be member of Executive Management Team reporting to Antti Pankakoski.
